Baked Fish with Taratour by Allan Syiek
This is one of my Father's favorite meals!
3 lbs Haddock fillet (or other white fish that is not too strong)
3 medium onions
2 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup pine nuts
Tahini Sauce (see recipe below)
Marinate fish with oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt. Bake for 30 mins at 350.
Slice onions in thin wedges and slowly saute in oil. About 2/3 of the way through the saute add pine nuts. Set aside.
Pour Tahini sauce over baked fish. Garnish with onions, nuts and parsley
Tahini Sauce
6 Tbsp. tahini
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1 lemon juiced
6 Tbsp. water
Blend all ingredients thoroughly.
