Barbara is a native Florentine, chef, and sommelier who has been offering cooking classes in Florence since 2003. Barbara, who speaks perfect English, will start your class at 10:00 a.m. with a visit to the wonderful San’Ambrogio market. Then on to her lovely country home, a wonderful house built in the 16th century located at the beginning of the Chianti area. It is a rare opportunity to be close to the center of Florence but in the heart of the Tuscan countryside! The house has a very well-equipped kitchen where you will have your hands-on lesson featuring several courses, and a garden circled by olive trees and roses, where, weather permitting, you will enjoy your lunch with wine. Barbara will provide transportation to and from the market.
